Launch of an Appeal for Funds to establish a Monastery in the UK
During Luangpoh Sudhiro’s month long visit to the UK in 2023 he revisited Kiln Cottage a property that could provide the basis for a small monastery in the UK.
Luangpoh wishes to spend longer periods of time in the UK, setting up and establishing the monastery.
Luangpoh strongly believes this could provide a place to come and experience living in the Dhamma in the UK without always having to visit him in Thailand.
Setting up a monastery would enable Luangpoh to establish his unique approach in the UK.
The BMSUK feel that with all the uncertainties that exist in the world, it is of paramount importance, for more people to access a peaceful place, where they can live in the Dhamma and take this experience back to everyday life.
To make this very significant opportunity happen, that will be of benefit to self and others, we need your support.
The BMSUK are launching an international appeal for financial donations to buy Kiln Cottage.
This appeal will connect with the generosity of people who know and appreciate Luangpoh Sudhiro’s work and way of teaching the Dhamma. In this way we hope to make an offer for the property. One-off donations, standing orders and interest free loans are welcome.
